 Concord, Mass. - July 26, 2008: A man and his son play in Walden Pond as the sun sets over the trees. Walden Pond, famous for being the remote home of transcendentalist writer of Henry David Thorough, is now an attraction for hiking and swimming for tourists.
 New York City, NY - May 26, 2008: A man stands and observes the old ships at South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. Despite the heavy tourism, malls and street vendors present near South Street today, there are still remnants of historical New York City, including old sailing ships like the Peking and the Helen McAllister present at Pier 17.

 Boston, Mass. - Oct. 11, 2008: Protesters march downtown in protest of the war in Iraq. The march was organized by the October 11 Mobilizing Committee, in recognition of Congress’ approval of the “Iraq War Resolution,” signed on Oct. 11, 2002, which gave the Bush administration authorization to invade Iraq.
